Information about us

If you would like to discuss any matter with your order please contact us. Our contact details are:

Service Availability

Our site is only intended for use by people resident in the UK Mainland “Serviced Countries”. We do not accept orders from individuals outside those countries. Some restrictions may be placed on the extent to which we accept orders from specific countries.

  • All orders that you place on this website will be subject to acceptance by us in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.

  • Acceptance of your order takes place on us sending to you an email (“Order Acceptance”) informing you that your items have been dispatched by or for us. This constitutes the “Contract” between us.

  • On placing your order we will send you an ‘acknowledgement of order’ email within 24hrs indicating that your order has been received, the items ordered, payment total and that we are checking availability of stock. Please note that this acknowledgement does not mean that your order has been accepted.

  • Ownership of Goods will only pass to you when we receive full payment of all sums due to us, including delivery charges.

  • HOUSE & TABLE will email or call you within 48 hours of placing your order to arrange delivery to ensure someone is at the delivery address when the item is delivered as they will not necessarily need to be signed for.

  • Should no one be present to receive Goods at the pre-arranged time, a relevant delivery fee will be charged, (irrespective of your invoice) for re-delivery. Please note that delivery will be to the front door of your property. We do not accept any responsibility or liability for carrying any Goods into your property. Should a delivery person do this, then this is at your risk.

  • 48 hours notice is required for cancellation of a pre-arranged delivery.

  • We reserve the right to refuse delivery to any individual or company.

  • We reserve the right to discontinue products.

  • Many of the Goods we supply are bespoke and unique. Therefore, Goods will change frequently and can not be replaced in an identical way. Therefore, any contract with us is subject to the Goods being available or held by us.

  • Standard delivery Products are £4.00 per order for Standard UK delivery.

  • All furniture delivery is FREE.

  • All of our standard delivery Products and Furniture will be dispatched and be with you within 5 working days of the Order Acceptance. If you have placed an order containing a large Furniture, your accessories may be dispatched separately.

  • We do not deliver to the Highlands & Islands of Scotland, Ireland, Isle of Man, Isles of Scilly and the Channel Islands unless otherwise agreed. Please contact HOUSE & TABLE if you would like an item delivered to any of the above.

  • It is your responsibility to measure both the access and final resting space of your pieces of furniture. Should we deliver an item and find it will not fit due to lack of measuring, we will be obliged to charge a collection fee.

  • We do not accept orders online outside the Serviced Areas. We are happy to accept orders by phone providing you arrange for your own courier/shipping. Please contact HOUSE & TABLE.

  • If you are unsure about placing your order online you are more than welcome to call HOUSE & TABLE and we can proceed with payment over the phone.

Cancellations and Amendments

  • If you are contracting as a consumer, you may cancel a Contract at any time within seven working days, beginning on the day after you received the Goods. In this case, you will receive a full refund of the price paid for the Goods in accordance with our refunds policy.

  • To cancel a Contract, you must inform us in writing. You must also return the Goods to us immediately, in the same condition in which you received them, and at your own cost and risk. You have a legal obligation to take reasonable care of the Goods while they are in your possession. If you fail to comply with this obligation, we may have a right of action against you for compensation.

  • We will try to accommodate any changes you wish to make after your order has been placed, but, given that your order will be processed immediately on receipt, we cannot guarantee this. If you do wish to make an amendment to your order, please contact HOUSE & TABLE

Product Descriptions

  • The Furniture on this website is old, used and has character. Each item of Furniture is specifically sourced by us, is unique rustic and bespoke. Accordingly, each item of Furniture is likely to be slightly different in measurements, appearance, colour and finish. Dimensions may differ by up to +/- 3cm from the sizes given. To avoid disappointment on the day, please bear this in mind when measuring your space and ordering your Furniture.

  • Every effort is made to ensure that the Goods we supply correspond as closely as possible to the pictures displayed online, but due to the handmade, old and rustic nature of many of our products there might be slight variations. No responsibility can be accepted for these variations and you must check the suitability of the Goods to your requirements. These could include, but are not limited to, slight differences in shades of fabric, colour, texture or dimensions of products.

  • Please bear in mind that computer browsers may present colours slightly differently.

  • Prices include VAT and exclude delivery charges (unless we state or agree that delivery is to be free).

  • We reserve the right to alter prices either up or down, including any variations to the rate of VAT but changes will not affect orders in respect of which we have already sent you an Order Acceptance.

  • Our site contains a large number of Goods and it is always possible that, despite our best efforts, some of the Goods listed on our site may be incorrectly priced. We will normally verify prices as part of our dispatch procedures so that, where a Good’s correct price is less than our stated price, we will charge the lower amount when dispatching the Goods to you. If a Good’s correct price is higher than the price stated on our site, we will normally, at our discretion, either contact you for instructions before dispatching the Goods, or reject your order and notify you of such rejection.

  • We are under no obligation to provide the Goods to you at the incorrect (lower) price, even after we have sent you a Dispatch Confirmation, if the pricing error is obvious and unmistakeable and could have reasonably been recognised by you as a mis-pricing

  • Full payment must be made before any Goods are dispatched to you.

  • All payments taken by phone or online are taken in a secure environment.

  • We accept Visa, MasterCard, Visa Delta, Switch or American Express.
